Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
My scores are (or were, at this point) as follows:
Experian: 584 (not sure why this one was so far behind)
Equifax: 629
TransUnion: 624
I applied for a Capital One QuicksilverOne, approved instantly for $300 with the auto CLI in 5 months of good standing activity.
Walmart, 7-10 days
Target, 7-10 days.
Considering my usual credit history, I'll definitely take it as a win. Should I try calling the backdoor numbers for Target or WalMart during this time frame, or should I wait until they send me a notice in the mail?
Congrats on the QS and good luck with Walmart and Target!
Thank you! If I can get just either or, I'd be stoked. I'm about to try the backdoor for Target, then WalMart after I get confirmation or denial in the mail.
Congrats! Thanks for sharing and Good Luck!

Congrats on QS1 approval. The Credit Steps program has been very generous to some members, so hopefully you'll experience that.
Target pulls EQ, so you might be too low for them. Wally pulls TU, but you're not far off from what they'd accept. It really depends on your profile, however.
I would get Credit Solutions on the phone right away for the Walmart, grats on your successful Cap-1 approval ![]()

X2. Walmart credit solutions is easy to persuade into whatever you want.

congrats

Thanks a ton for the congrats everyone! I'll definitely give walmart's credit solutions a call. I figure its worth a shot, eh? Thanks gdale and ExplicitElicit for that one. Sunrise, I was definitely denied Target. No chance of recon either. Rather surprised, seeing as how my aunt that has 2 BKs has been approved with them. Twice. Haha.
