I recently raised my TU cs and decided to go on my first app spree. Prior to this I had one CC, a Cap1 mastercard with a $3750 cl. I was pretty scared b/c I received a big, fat no from Walmart in Dec. To my surprise I received an instant approval on all three (and none pulled TU, lol).

BofA Better Balance - 2000 cl, pulled EX

Chase Freedom -2500 cl, pulled EX and EQ

Discover - 5300 cl, pulled EQ

CS: TU 758, EQ 752, EX 756

HPs before spree: 1 on EQ & EX and 2 on TU

On a slightly unrelated note, my TU was significantly lower than my other two scores. I finally went over it with a fine-tooth comb and discovered that a baddie that should have aged off was not only still reporting, but was also reporting as placed for collection 6/2014! I contacted TU and they removed it the next day and my score went up 50pts. Lesson learned, I’ll watch my credit report much more closely and not just my score.

Thanks guys, I couldn’t have done it without all the information I have learned and continue to learn on this board. My incessant stalking of these forums has finally paid off, lol.

Congrats to you also It was super exciting, right lol. I'm crossing my fingers that the new HPs and hit to my AAoA doesn't cost me too many points so I'm sprinting to the garden. I'm not going to app for another year or two, so I'm not sure yet. Which cards did you pick up?
