Just applied for and received a CLI from $2000 to $5000 on my Fred Meyer Jewelers account (issued by TD Bank). Used it once to buy wedding and engagement rings for myself and now-DW with a 0% for 12 months promo last June. I just paid it off at the beginning of the month before the wedding and thought why not.
It was a hard pull (EX) 
but worth it because now my total credit limits are north of $40K and my FICO is above 700 (on any CRA) for the first time ever in my life.
