Freedom Approval!

Went into the branch yesterday to ask about Freedom vs. Slate since I had been pre-approved for both.. (Freedom can ALSO do balance transfers at 0% interest for 18mos. And it has better rewards.. so why would anyone choose the Slate?)

Anyway- $4,500 cL! and he said that since my other cards are about to post CLI I should call and see if I can get it raised on a recon.. but I think they would do another HP?

Slate promos often include 0% balance transfer fees as well.

The difference between the Slate and Freedom with BT is this:

Freedom: Pay 3% fee when you transfer a balance.
Slate: Pay no balance transfer fee when you transfer a balance during the first 60 days your account is open.

Congratulations on your approval. If you are considering a BT, I would go with Slate and use the Freedom for purchases.

Yes, reconning the CL would be an additional hp.
