Freedom Unlimited Approved

Applied for Chase Freedom as I want the cash back and I wanted a Visa card. I was initially declined due to a BK but thanks to this forum I reconned. I was recommended for approval on Thursday of last week and I received the call today from fraud to verify me.

Once verified I was approved with a SL 500 limit. It's pretty small and is now my smallest credit line. I really wanted to get in with Chase so I'm thankful and I will put alot of spend through it and PIF and hope for the best.  I just also got VS and care credit so regardless I'm going in the garden until I get my score where I want it to be.

Ouch only $500, but at least you got approved. Congrats. That's why I'm avoiding Chase for now...I want to build up to a big credit line. AmEx just gave me a $1,000 limit when I only had a $200 limit reporting. Best of luck on building that up, but I heard Chase is stingy.

Yes I know.... I'm hoping for the best but we shall see.... I will give it 6 months and see where we are.

Congrats on your approval, although the SL is small atleast you are in with chase. Once you are in with chase and treat them nice, you will grow. just my personal experaince, I try never ask chase for CLI instead just wait it out and they will increase it in every 3 to 6 months. That way no hard pull either. Hope this help!
