Freedom approval!

Hello everyone!

I've been a long time lurker on the forum and been reading a good bit. I just applied for the Chase Freedom card(REALLY WANTING THE CSP. Not sure if I would get approved or not) so I played it safe.

Was approved for the the Freedom with a CL of $4500. I'm 27 and have only had a credit card for about 11 months(I started late, paid cash for everything. What a dummy!)

Is there a way to PC to the CSP right away or is it best to wait for the 6 - 12 months? Should I app for the CSP right away? My only other card is the Discover IT card with a limit of $5000.

I'm getting married in January and the CSP would be lovely for the traveling we plan on doing.

Anyways, just wanted to thank everyone for the help and share my approval.

Re: Freedom approval!

APP for it and Assuming you get denied for the CSP, call in. Tell them that you like the 5% cash back on the freedom card and you plan on transferring your UR points from freedom to CSP for your travels, that's why you appd for both.
