GREENSTATE PLATINUM REWARDS - SOFT PULL APPROVAL

Ok so I went to open a checking account with them and they said they were going to run a TU F9 credit report soft pull. The lady comes back and said based on the soft pull we can approve you for 3,000 SL if you want more it will be a HP . I was like no thank you I will accept !

This is my first ever soft pull approval for a card - i wasn't planning on applying for any cards but how can i turn down a no hard pull approval

3x gas 2x groceries 1x everything else , i have other cards with similiar rewards  but its fine just pretty hyped about it. 

Note: I am from NY - eligibility is open to everyone outside of IOWA just need to call up

I wish many more FI would implement this practice of offering credit products for a SP when opening banking accounts.
