Getting back in with chase...

Any chance with settements from chase still reporting...Dofd was 5/08 on one account and another was brought back current and then settled..It reports as a paid C/O 4/10..Settled for less then full amount, status does indicate "pays account as agreed" lol... They were both small CL's and not very big loses under 200 dollars each..How long am I on the "blacklist" any chance at the freedom?

Re: Getting back in with chase...

Call the analyst line, they will tell you. I often call bacdoor numbers to get an idea of where I stand. You MIGHT want to freeze your ARS/IDA reports before applying (do some googling as to why), chase uses ARS, and they tend to keep bad stuff WAY longer than 7 years, despite cfpb, fcra, and fdcpa.

They like to say they are not a reporting agency, but under the definition of fcra, they are.

I had a charge off in late 2006 and was just able to get back in with them last month. Got the Freedom and it was instant approved...I was shocked.

Chase won't play that game, everyone knows that.. They are a major cc company not a pos collection company
