Basically haven't applied for cards in almost 2 years.. March 2015. Since so much time had gone by, I applied for the 100K promotion in January online and got my first ever denial. I couldn't believe it so I called. Reason? 5/24. Completely forgot since it has almost been 2 years. So luckily March was that timeframe for me. I went into the FC today and was approved for the card. Very excited! I'm going to transfer the points to American and go to Europe again. Yay!

10k. I may be at max exposure. Have 4 cards. Last card in 2015 was Marriott and it was instant 18k. Most cards are over 20-25k but whatever I'll take it.

Congrats on the approval! How are you transferring your points to American? They are not a transfer partner.

Nice pick up. Great thing is you can transfer credit around so which ever card you want with more credit is yours for the choosing

Very similar story here! Took out a Target card 1 year and 7 months ago 2,500 CL, Chase Freedom Unlimited 8 months ago with a 16,900 CL and CSR before deadline at 10k CL
