Hoping the Discover and BOA come through but pretty pleased with the results.
I currently have zero balance on all my older accounts so I plan to get creative with these new cards to put some miles on them and PIF monthly, I pay all my bills 1st of the month BOA Checking so I'll spread some of that around to paying utilities, mortgages automatically via the new cards and then pay the new cards via BOA bill pay, more to track but I think it will be a good exercise for the cards and earning rewards while I do it.
For the curious, the two 500.00 CLD's are among my oldest accounts so I'm keeping them but they are basic cards with no perks so that's why I didn't go for CLI on those.
Comments and questions are welcome.
Congrats on your success
I feel that i was right from the post about which CC companies pull which Bureaus. thanks so much.
I knew Cap1 pulls all three & so does Chase. Discover is EQ;
I knew Citi was EX however, surprised they pulled EX & EQ
Which city/state was this app spree in? how long ago
I did go on chase and applied for Chase Freedom knowing well my EQ/TU are frozen.Is it possible they never got my app. I applied using the Pre-Qualified button which showed Freedom card eligbility.
They show no entry on any of my CRA;s.
Wow! Congratulations on all your success! Very impressive
Congrats on your approvals, and pending reviews!
On the BoA, if you take a HP, you can ask for a CL. I had a BoA card stuck down at like $1500, and with one HP got it back up to $20k! It's an old BoA/FIA card with a 5.9% APR, so if I ever need a BT, it's a great card to keep, and goes back till '99 for me.
The bummer is you need to take a HP. With Citi, you can ask for CLIs via SP, but it may take a while.
