so last night thought I'd apply got the Chase Freedom card to go along with my Sapphire Preffered I got back in February. Got the 7-10 review(denied pretty much). I figured it was due to the 5/24 rule Chase has, was pretty upset because my fiancé was approved but she doesn't really have any cards but seeing her approved gave me a bit of confidence to pull the trigger on the Hyatt and got instantly approved for $5,000!!! I couldn't believe it since they just declined for the Freedom. I only applied for the Hyatt cause I heard it wasn't on the 5/24 rule. Is it possible to product change to the Freedom after I get the Hyatt??

Congratulations and welcome to the Chase Hyatt family!

You cannot change from a partner card (i.e., Hyatt) to one of Chase's mainline cards (i.e. Freedom).

I heard that the Hyatt card would be a pretty good "main driver" card is that true or would one of the other cards in my wig be better as an everyday card? I really want the Starwwod Amex for everyday spend but Amex says no dice every time I apply

just checked my Chase account and saw that they increased my Sapphire card by $2000!!! my first auto increase from chase. God is good
