CreditOne was my first bank card 7 months ago, followed two Cap 1 cards 6 months ago. I've been impatiently waiting and waiting for my scores to be strong enough to app for another bank card so I can ditch CreditOne
In all honesty, I had NO business apping for Barclay Rewards just yet.... I should have let me scores go up at least another 20 points... but I pulled the trigger anyway....
BAM!
Approved SL $1300.
So good riddance Credit One with your crappy terms, huge annual fee and silly little $400 limit!
MyFico is the best!!
Current Cards:
Cap 1 QS1 CL $5000
Cap 1 QS1 CL $3500
Barclay Rewards CL $1300
It feels SOOOOOO good to be making progress and to have options!
Karen
Congrats, can't wait to get there myself! I'm so impatiently waiting ![]()

Congrats on your success! Barclay's can be really generous with lower scores if you haven't burned them in the past.
My TU score was about the same as yours when I got my Apple Rewards card. Initial limit was $1,900 and I recon'd it to $3500 to match my Freedom. Now it's up to $4,450.
Lots of activity and large payments (just like Capital One) can potentially reward you with decent CLI's.

It's a great feeling to cancel credit one I did last month
Congratulations on your new credit card!
I had a Credit One credit soooooo many years ago and closed it out when my aunt advised me that it was best. I don't remember much about the company.
But I did apply for a Barclay Rewards card shortly after returning and needing to establish some credit, they started me off with the same limit--$1300, in Dec '14 and six months later (approx. Jun '15) it was automatically increased by $1700, then again earlier this month (Sep '15) to $6K
The APR isn't what I'd like but I don't leave much of a balance on it, so it works. So if you stay on top of things, it'll grow.
Congrats again!
congrats Karen.

Barclays does APR reductions, you just have to call and ask. I got the APR on my Apple Rewards card lowered 4% last week.

Wait a sec, did you get an Auto CLI at 6 mos? That I've seen alot, but did you get an auto CLI at 9 mos too? Only asking because I got an auto CLI from 500 - > 1500 on 6th month, and I've put 2k per month on card since, just curious if they do auto CLI @ 9th month.
