Hi there,
I've been in the US for 4 months now. I just wanted to say hello to everyone.
I'm banking with Wells Fargo and got a $300 CL secured card with them two months ago.
Also, I applied for a Capital One secured credit card today. I deposited $200, so I got a CL of $351.
I'll let you know how things progress!!

Thank you for all your replies!
I'm from Spain, currently working as a researcher at the University of California. I've read a lot about credit scores, credit cards, etc, so I think I will do it right (unless something unexpected happens). I plan to pay my balance in full every month, because that's what I'm used to do, I've always lived within my means. I mostly use my credit cards as debit cards.
My only concern with my current US credit cards is that the Cap1 cannot graduate to an unsecured card (or at least that is what I've read). I joined CreditKarma and Mint. I guess I cannot do much more for the moment, but just be patient, pay my balances in full every month and wait for my credit score to rise up. I cannot wait!
