Good evening sirs and madams!

Chase denied my application and my recon for the Freedom card 3 months ago. But I went to their website right now for the Pre-qualifying offers, input my information and it's saying I am pre-qualified for the Freedom!??!

Info about me -

- Had 1 credit card in 2002 through 2012, never used it once, closed it myself in 2012.

- Opened 2 credit cards 3 months ago, Walmart Mastercard $800 limit and Capital One $300 limit

- Took out a car 24 month auto loan in December 2013, paid it off in FULL Sept 2014

- 100% on time payments, never had a late payment anywhere

- No negative blemishes or reports on my history in my life

Should I apply again? My credit card history is only 3 months old.

Their prequal site is pretty accurate, if you have an HP to burn then why not. However though I've heard that chase like to see 1 year of credit history but they have been know to extend credit before that, it's a YMMV kinda thing though.

yes they are very weird.. applied for the amazon visa one month before getting the freedom and was denied the amazon visa then pre-qual site said i had freedom/slate.. Jumped on the freedom and approved for 4k. Very weird, none the less I am happy and in with chase now.
