Help with Pottery Barn CLI

I did the shopping cart trick today and I was approved for $2k.  I would actually like to make a purchase, so I need a higher CL to make it worth it!  I tried calling the phone number on the email I got and Robolady transferred me to a live person when I said "credit limit increase" while in the main menu.  I just hung up as I wasn't sure if this is how to go about getting the CLI I need.  How did those of you who have gotten PB CLI on the same day of application do it??

Thanks in advance!

Re: Help with Pottery Barn CLI

Update:
So I woke up to a HP on Experian today. I’m pretty mad since I received a preapproval pop up. THEN I called to try and get a CLI and robo last transferred me to a person again. I spoke with the lady and told her I was wanting a CLI and she said she would have to pull my credit report, so I declined. I’m not sure how people get credit limit increases through the robo lady? Or how people get soft pulls. I guess I’m writing this as a warning to other newbies! Go in expecting a HP and no CLI.🙄

Re: Help with Pottery Barn CLI

Per the comenity rep, they use the same pull for 30days, so even though they tell you they will pull, it won’t..

All the SCT cards are coming out as hard pulls.

But yes in my experience speaking to the person yielded a better cli than the automatic robolady and online. I was able to recon my SL on that same day with the live person.

Patience, in most cases, gets folks with the right results.  A variety of SCTs can and may result in a HP, it's not always guaranteed to be SP and similar experiences have been shared in a variety of Comenity "SCT" threads.

As far as a CLI, it's likely your account will need to age a few months before it is eligible if it did not qualify to receive one when you called.
