I have had an old orchard bank card that converted to a Capital One Platinum Mastercard for many years (well over 10+) The limit has always remained at $1500 and I have never been able to receive a CLI. I was told after the conversion (by Executive office) that this card was at it's max limit and could not be product changed. It also has an AF of $5.00/ month that I've been paying FOREVER. Well today I decided I was tired of making this $5 payment every month. So I logged on to capital one and decided to pull the trigger on the Quicksilver no AF.. well in a matter of seconds I was APPROVED with a $12,000 starting limit.. Goodbye Platinum, Hello Quicksilver ![]()
Experian 762, Transunion 762, not sure about Equifax
Congrats on the great SL coming from Capital One

Yeah i thought of that but I dont have any inquiries on 2 reports, and only 1 on the other..so I went for it!
Congrats on the approval, you should be able to combine both CL's as well.
