How accurate is the Chase Prequalifier tool?

Well I decided to bite the bullet and go for it and was approved!! This is my first major credit card aside from the Capital One and some store cards

Thanks! I applied for the Freedom card.I have read on this forum that many have this one and really like it....Im just happy to move into the world of good prime cards

Congrats !!!! Enjoy that great feeling of being approved. For me, it only lasts a day. Than I need to roll the "credit dice" or spin the "credit wheel of fortune" and see if I get approved for another card I want. Starting to feel like a "credit addict".

No not at all....It was only for 2200.00 but considering I started out last December with NO score I feel thats an accomplishment

I've been doing the Chase Qualifier, along with every other CC company and always get "no offers were found, blah, blah, blah". A few, like Discover, try and make it seem like your pre-approved, but they're not. I've applied to most and have been approved even though absolutely nothing came up. So don't be worried if you aren't "pre-approved" on the CC websites. I even made certain that I was not listed on that "do not solicit" offers website.
