According to the Mortgage broker the wife and I have been talking to, ~640 is the baseline to Qualify for ~4.5% Mortgage. Income and job security fill in the gap there.

We've been doing a little shopping too. This flat we live in now (Free and clear, btw) isn't big enough to raise kids in, and naturally, Wives tend to want kids eventually.

Doesn't mean much since Amex probably used your Experian score while Walmart and Discover give you your Transunion score. I'm assuming CS means Credit Sesame? If so, that's a fako score. I'd bet nearly everyone has differing scores on all the bureaus.
