Just apped for a Pen Fed card and it said application has been sent to loan officer, probably due to inquiries and new credit. Question is do the analysts work on week-ends.....or do I just have to wait.

Sometimes they transfer or grant final approval on weekends. Other times it takes a couple of days. It took me 3 tries to get approved and they dialed back the computer generated limit from $11k to $1k, but it was a foot in the door for me. I also applied for Thrifty Service over the phone after the card had been transferred. They approved for the minimum amount $500, but that's all I asked for since the card limit was so low.
I applied for the Platinum Rewards card on a Saturday. Forwarded to a loan officer and approved for $6,500 on Tuesday. Transferred on Wednesday and had the card the following Thursday. Hope the timeline helps. Good luck on getting in!
I just applied couple minutes ago for the Amex card and my application was send to loan officer, is this a good sign or bad? Should I call or wait. I got a instant denial twice from them before but my score was very low.
