@Anonymous wrote:Congrats man, very nicely done. You have had a great run lately haven't you? This is one I want to get but I have to chill for quite awhile before Citi will even return my looks.
Agreed on pushing Chase out - this looks like a winner for sure!
Thanks man!
Yeah I definitely have had quite the run. I got 4 cards in May (Cash+, Max Cash, Affinity, and AMEX Business Amazon), I've been approved for 3 CLIs (DCU and BBVA with HP, Navy with SP), and now this card for a total of $40,100 new credit in less than 2 months. ![]()
Honestly the Freedom Flex is a want because its unobtainium for me. Realistically it would be in the SD with Miss Disco most quarters because my spend is pretty much groceries, Amazon, and the occasional fast food/restaurant. I will keep checking Credit Journey but if they don't want to offer me one that passes 5/24, I'm not specifically going to garden for it when there are other cards that fit my needs.
Congrats on the Citi CC approval. This is next in my list. Will make an great gas card.

This is a really nice card, very useful.
I have like, 3 cards on my mind now, this one, Navy Platinum and Navy Flagship due to the big SUB. Haha to much to deal with.
I love to see these approvals though, you've had a nice couple of months.
Thanks for posting this one for us.
Congratulations!
Yeah I knew from the day it was released and I did the math to compare it to BCP that I was going to end up with it, was just a matter of when that happened.
Those are some solid card choices. I would go for Flagship first because we don't know when that SUB will go away.
This makes $40,100 new credit since May so yeah, I have been busy. 😅

I am getting sick and tired of waiting for the possibility of a PC....must.be.patient......
I like how you normally have a one-in, one-out policy. Amazon store card on the chopping block?
Thank you!
I definitely couldn't be patient anymore. I have some dry eye care stuff that I'm doing that's pretty expensive anyway (if I end up having to buy the NuLids device, I'll be out another $300) so the timing on this is perfect since I am hoping to be able to get my glasses in September and I'll have thru October 2nd (woohoo birthday) to hit the SUB.
I am not sure if Amazon, Target, or BCE is going on the block. I try to keep my cards at no more than 20 and I'm right there now but I'm really struggling with the idea of dropping a $10K Amazon card when its my only Sync exposure and I have an $800 Target sitting around. I do currently have three Amazon cards (Affinity and AMEX) but I also have two Target cards (credit and debit). The Amazon card at least has the added benefit of prime card bonus offers which don't work with the AMEX or Affinity cards. The BCE is essentially a SD card now and I am tempted to move $4K of the $5K to my Cash Magnet to make it $7K and close the BCE. Decisions, decisions...
