I've been w Target since 2015. The limit started at $500 (I think) and there were regular increases every 3 to 4 months til it ended up at $2,300. I use the card frequently and have grocery delivery at least twice a month. I've seen posts of upgrades and had inquired about how to get it. Well, I was out of town last week and when I returned home there was a letter in the mail about a Mastercard upgrade AND a major increase (insert woop here)!!!
There was also in the same mail an increased limit on my BOA Cash Rewards Visa Platinum Plus (thats a lot of words). I've carried a balance for a while because we literally used it to live on and I've been slowly paying it down. BUT interestingly I haven't used the card in so long that I don't remember the last time lol. Well, there was a $3,500 increase. This card started out as prepaid. It was one of those you pay x and your limit will be y. It was crazy low. Within a year it upgraded to a regular credit card and its had regular increases.
Moral... be consistent and they'll reward you!!
