I had a capital one platinum card about 4 years ago, defaulted after hitting rock bottom. I ended up sending them a goodwill letter, they removed it. Never settled the debt tho! Just randomly tried for a credit card with them today, and boom got a approved for a Quicksilver card. Will definitely treat this one with care, although it's only for a $300 limit.
is the Quicksilver cap one a good card?

Grats on getting back in the door with Cap-1 they dont hold a grudge forever. Its an okay card as a rebuilder. As your credit improves you will be able to get better cards that give more cashback or travel miles. Enjoy the card
Congrats,
Yes is a nice card, I started bulding credit with that and discover.
Congrats on your Capital One approval!
Congrats!
My QS started life as a $300 Platinum in 2014 and it's not a card I have any plans to get rid of. Capital One doesn't play a lot of the games other lenders do. No FTF, no minimum redemption or increments for redemption, no hidden fees, great app, and above average customer service all make the card a keeper despite the fact there are 2% cash back card options out there.
Congrats on yer QS approval
