Ikea Projekt Card approved $5500 SL

Stepped out of the garden for this card. I have been to Ikea 3 times in the past month and each time thought about pulling the trigger. I thought about the VISA card but stuck with the store card as I have a couple daily drivers and the prequal showed a nice SL.

Went online to the pre-qual and said I was prequalified with a $5500 limit. Pulled the trigger... in review...

Letter came today and I verified some info... approved for the full amount. Super pumped. Not only will this help update the home (friggin love IKEA) but it'll pull my Util down under 8.9% when it posts.

Experian pulled - 19% util, 8 inqs, 646 at time of pull, AAOA 2 years 5 months, new accounts in the past year... 14... haaaaaa

Need to get back in the garden for sure!

When I was looking at the ikea project card it looked like the minimum you had to charge was the 5k. Are you having to do that? And congrats on the approval.

It does look like that from the way it's written but no, you can charge any amount you want on it. To get special financing and a fixed rate etc you need to spend over $5000 in one purchase.
