Instant approval without showing CL?

Is it common to receive an instant approval without showing your CL? I got an instant approval from BMO Harris Bank but it didn't show how much. It just said I'd receive it in 7-10 days.

I dont know about BMO Harris, but its not at all unusual for that to happen. Call into their call center and ask

Capital One sometimes does this to new account holders. 

Chase sometimes doesn't show you your real credit limit until you get the card or it shows up in your online account (Amazon Visa is notorious for $5k starting limits that are actually higher). 

I also believe Paypal (can't remember if it's credit or MasterCard) doesn't show the full limit when you're approved for a card.

Thanks. I've received my CL in all of my other instant approvals so I thought it was odd that I didn't get one this time.

I'll see if I can wait it out and be surprised when it comes in. :-)

You'll be surprised like me, when I received a Cabela's approval over a month after I had applied I had completely forgotten about applying for it, lol

I really hadn't thought about applying with them but I received an email with a special offer so hopefully they make it worth the suspense. Lol
