On your FSCC Mastercard They will remove the AF after the first year (After it posted to your account) and maybe give you a cli if you call in and say you were thinking about closing out your account due to the AF and the credit line. You also can click the service center tab to see if you have a cli opition every 3 to 6 months. They have removed the AF and give me another cli everytime I called in. I started out at 300 SL and now i am at 5K. Hopes this helps you ![]()

I think one of the things that is KILLING ME are my student loans. I have 24 TLs for open SLs - approx $76k (opened between 2003 - 2007, then went back to school 2012 - 2013), all perfect payment history (IBR, $0 pymt) except for 1, showing 30/30/60/90/90/90/120/120/90, DoFD 06/2014 so those lates should be dropping off soonish right?
The good - helps my credit age? AAoA - 10 years 2 months
The bad - IBR caused HUGE Utilization!!! Utilization on these accounts range from 107% - 217% individually, with aggregate utlization in the installment loan category being 130%
I can't get approved for decent SLs with most feedback being "Proportion of loan balances to loan amounts is too high" which I am assuming they are talking about my SLs because I PIF my credit cards every month. Not sure there is anything in my immediate future I can do to remedy this?
Anyways, needless to say, I was super excited to receive the following approvals, especially the Discover approval as this is the highest SL I've ever had!!!

Discover IT Cashback Rewards - Approved 1/13/21 (EX HP)
SL: $6000
APR: 20.99%

NFCU Cash Rewards Visa - Approved 1/25/21 (TU HP)

Consumers CU Visa Platinum - Approved 2/5/21 (used same HP/report info from Auto Refi app on 1/21/21, refi DPs posted in the Auto Loans forum)
APR: 15.70%
SL: $500
TU FICO8 score at time of app: 623
# INQ at time of app: 6/12, 14/24
CLIs:
Kohls Charge - CLI approved 1/13/21 (EX SP)
Acct opened: 5/2020

FSCC Mastercard - CLI approved 1/25/21 (TU SP)
Acct opened: 7/2020

Consumers CU originally denied me for a CC when processing my auto refi but I was able to successfully recon thanks to all the awesome info in this forum!
Congrats on all you recent successes! You are slowly but surely rising up the credit ladder.
A busy month for sure! Agreed that those Student Loans may play a part but you're off to a good start with these approvals to grow in time! That's terrific! Congratulations on your approval!! 🎉🥂

Yes! I saw you post about calling around AF time in another thread! My plan is to do that, if they don't waive the AF then I will just cancel that card. Thanks for the tip! ![]()
