Just got approved for the CSP - recon question

I just called earlier today and found out I was approved for $5,000. How good are they with recon'ing initial credit limits? Any tips on what I should say? Thanks!

It all depends on your credit profile and if you have any other trade lines with higher limits

Congrats! You could try for a CLI and it may result in at least 1 HP with no guarantee you will get it. Thanks for sharing.

They would pull another hard inquiry even though I just  got approved today? Sounds awful lol. I wonder if it's even worth it to try. How soon after account opening can you request a CLI?

You can do it right away. Call the credit analyst recon backdoor number. It will require another HP, but no guarantee for an increase.
