I have several Key Bank accounts (3 credit cards: 2@9,500; 1@8,000; LOC @28,500; personal unsecured loan Originally @20k). Today I applied for a cli on one credit card that was 7k. They increased it to 8k. That has been my history of cli requests with Key Bank 1k each time with no credit pull. Decided today also to apply for another credit card. This application was very short, not like all the others. Even the CLI requests applications were more detailed than this credit card application. The usual things Key Bank normally ask like debts, income and driver's license number and expiration were notably missing this time. Every application for all my Key Bank products and cli requests resulted in later notification of approval. Well I submitted this application for another Lattitude card which was very short. The wheel spinned and what do you know, an instant approval. No credit limit or APR available. Called Key Bank and csr has no information. I wonder if this was approved because I did a BT request with application

Wow is all I can say. Called key today for details. Was told that card was approved on the 1st fir $20,000 @ 10.9%. This way exceeded what I was expecting based on my current key credit cards.

They don't appear to be inquiry sensitive considering I have at least 20 inquiries this year alone and a total of 37 in last two years. But that could be because iim an existing customer with a number of credit products. I only have $48 in their checking account.
