I opened this card 10/23 with a $2,500 limit, and was approved when I requested to double my limit to $5,000 on 2/24. I've seen others have success when requesting CLIs every 90 days, and since my last CLI was a SP I requested another double on my limit to $10,000 as a joke. It was immediately denied, and I was told to expect a letter. Becase I had gotten a AA letter on a Synchrony Home card that I never submitted a request for, I put a fraud alert on my report at all three bureaus. When the letter came in the mail, it said that Synchrony needed me to call in to make sure it was me that put in the CLI request.
I called in and after going through some identity verification questions, I was immediately approved to raise my limit to the requested $10,000. I think I am done poking the bear on this card and am just going to let it sit (unless I get a super high end PC gaming rig or something like that down the line). xD
