Local CU auto CLI

So I started my credit journey about 3.5 years ago with my local credit union. They approved me for a basic credit card with a SL of $500. I used the card for a year or so but I've been approved for multiple better credit cards since then, but I keep this card open to help my average age of credit.

Today I got an email from the CU stating they gave me a generous CLI so I logged on to the app to see how much. After only 3.5 years my limit went from $500 to $625!! 🥳😆

Not much of CLI but in all fairness I only use the card about once a year just to keep it open. I was surprised I got an increase at all. I still have a lot of respect for this CU since they were the ones that helped me start my journey.

CU are great when rebuilding, I still have my JACom Visa that started as a $650 secured card.  I'll keep it forever.
