I started browsing this forum and r/churning on reddit in June 2015. I've been hooked since and decided to do my first mini spree with applications.
History:
BOA 321 Cash Rewards/ Dec 2013/ $7k CL
Discover 1% Cashback Rewards/ Dec 2009/ $5.5k CL
Credit Karma was ~ 755
Discover Score was ~ 750
In June I upgraded my Discover card to the Discover It and hopped on the gravy train for a CLI to $6.2k
Approved for the Chase Freedom and got a huge $19.6k SL.
Credit Karma went up to 788 and Discover dropped to 740.
July 5th I was approved for the CSP and received another huge $20.5k SL.
July 5th I also applied for the BOA Better Balance Rewards and received a $10k SL.
I'll be applying for the AMEX BCE mid august because I received a $250 bonus/$1,000 spend offer.
My plan is to get cards that I'll use for the long term (IT, BCE, Freedom), a travel card (CSP) and the BOA BBR rewards to pay for the CSP annual fee. I should throw in a SMC in there to really round it out but i'm satisfied with where i'm at. Thanks for all the motivating stories to get my to apply!
TLDR: I went from having two cards with a $12.5k CL to five cards with $63.5k + some bonuses.
Congrats on your very nice approvals in the last two months!
