Initially received the card in March 2014, $700 limit. After 2 months, I requested an increase to $2500 which they agreed to. 

Fastforward to today....after reading a thread where CreditAddict told someone to ask for $25k (thanks CA). I called asking for $25k. The lady on the line came back and said, "Sorry we cannot approve you for $25k, but can give you $12k is that ok?" Trying to control my excitement, I was like I guess that will be ok lol. 

Thanks to this board for all of the valuable information that everyone provides!!

650 transunion - showing 35% utilization. That was the reason for not receiving the full amount requested. Actual utilization is 2% but not all reported to TU yet.

Congrats!! A great technique for sure! I use it religiously when I call CS. I'll be calling for my Amazon, Lowe's and Walmart cards after the August statements cycle!
