Lowes - message to call

I apped for a Lowes card tonight and received this message - 

Thank you for applying for the Lowe's(R) Consumer Credit Card. You're almost done. Please call 1-866-762-5136 within the next 48 hours to complete your application. For your records your reference # is _______. If we do not hear from you within that timeframe you will receive a written communication from us within the next 7-10 business days.

We are available to assist you Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. ET and Saturday-Sunday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET.

Not approved but not denied. I'll call tomorrow. What should I expect? I'm going to aim high when they ask how much I want.

I'll be calling in the morning and I have a number in mind - $20K. That combined with the two Cap 1 cards that I was just approved for will get me over $100K.

I called this morning after I woke up. Answered some questions then received a text to verify who I was. The rep put me on hold then came back about 20 seconds later and said I was approved for $2K. I asked if that could be increased a little so she transferred me to a different department. Went through the basic questions and was asked how much I was looking for. I origionally had $18K in mind but I lowered it after the $2K approval. Went for $10K and got it. I believe I left some $ on the table but I can get that later this year.

Congrats on the approval and CLI masscredit! I'm glad you were approved for the cards you wanted. I also like that even with the pushing from others you took your time and weighed the pros and cons for yourself before applying. Good job!
