I applied in store for a Macy's store card and was approved for $600 CL on Nov. 29th!! Nov. 30th i updated my report via my privacy matters and had a hard pull for experian.
I have been working on my credit hardcore since September and was not able to approve for Macy's before now. Currently i have 3 paid baddies left. One 30day on my car loan from 3/2014 and many 30days btw 2012/2013. I have several loans that defaulted with lates in 2011 but have been in good standing since 2013. I have the following catds which i pay down to zero each month (except one): First Premier 375 cl Cap one 300 cl Fingerhut 500 cl Vs 250 cl One stop plus 250 cl
Anyhow, i was so surprised when i was approved. Very happy that the hard pull wasnt for no reason. Maybe i was approved bc of yhe holiday shopping season....
Congrats. Macys was actually the only people who would give me a card during the time where I was messing up my credit, which now makes it the oldest open card I have. I use it every now and then just to show that I appreciate them.

Congratulations. I had a Macy's, but they cancelled it after 3 years of no activity, without even letting me know. I came to know from my credit report that they cancelled it. I for sure will never buy anything from them in the future.
