In my continuing angst over the closure of the Wayfair card and probable loss of its utilization padding, I've been casting around for soft pull CLIs. Tried the luv button with Amex, but no dice (they just don't like my profile from my decade-old rebuild, though the Amex was always in good standing and they stopped balance chasing me a long time ago). Luckily, Synchrony worked out! My original credit limit was $6,000, I requested $10,000, and was countered $9,000, which I'm happy to take. I'm just glad it's showing growth potential.

Data points: Vantage score of 724, low balances the last few months. I generally only use it for the monthly Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+ bundle, and this past week I had quite a bit of restaurant take out. I had submitted a payment for the balance in full right before requesting the CLI, but since my balance was $175, including the previous statement balance of $12 from the streaming bundle, so it's hard to say whether the payment made a difference. But, as I said; I'll take it.
