Merrick Bank Approval!

I was a bit eerie since I've never heard of this bank before today but this preapproval letter offered no fees and double CLI in 7 months and from what I've read on the forums, they don't sound too horrible compared to other rebuilder cards

I have a 651 TU score as of yesterday with 10 inquieries, 9 of which are from May 2015 to present. 3 baddies, 1 just got deleted. and Two Cap1 cards and a Lowes card. And lastly, an auto loan.

Congrats! Think of it as a stepping stone card. Pay as agreed and get your increase. I still have one, but I don't use it much anymore. After the first year, I had to pay a $36 an fee, which they charge at $3 per month. Still, it's a builder / rebuilder card and will serve it's purpose.

I too have one, started with $700 and doubled after 7th statement cut.  No issues at all with them.  My annual fee was a one lump sum charge so there is no monthly fee payment on my account.

From what I've read, they are good about giving auto increases every six months. I hope that's true and looking forward to finding out if it's true or not.
