Merrick - unexpected CLI

Logged in to check if my statement cut and noticed and extra $200 on my credit limit.

Opened in Oct 16 as a $550 double your line card, went to 1100 when it was supposed to and is now 1300.

Been riding very high balances on all my cards so I've been expecting AA any day, so this was a welcome bonus.

Also took my total CLs over 10K. So all in all a good day.

Congrats for the increased. My account is 10 years and 3 months old but I only have one increase and it was more than 5 years ago. I am going to try to ask for an increase but I am not sure if it is a sp or hp. Anybody has a Merrick account? Thanks.

@benreily I'd been meaning to call them and ask about a CLI or dumping my $4 a month fee but the only posts I found seem to be these random $200 increases. I meant to call later in the year after I finish paying down my cards, but this showed up. Also there is some wording on Merrick's site about periodic reviews, so I don't think you can get anywhere requesting them. But the only two times I had to call and talk to a CSR they were as sweet as pie, so it couldn't hurt to call in.
