Mini App Spree - Results

Motivated by results people were getting here, I went on a mini app spree lol. Don't mind the low limits, I'm still in rebuild mode until the last of my baddies fall off this year, by then I'll have 6 months on these and should be able to get either better cards or some CLI's.

1. Barclay's Rewards MC - Instant Approval $1500 limit - Pulled TU. 

2. Discover It - Instant Approval $800 limit - Pulled EX

3. Chase Freedom - 7-10 day msg, will try to recon tomorrow - Pulled EX - ***APPROVED ON RECON $4K LIMIT!!***

4. Citi TY Preferred (received invitation in mail) - Declined.  Will try to recon tomorrow - Pulled EX (decided not to recon this one)

Approx scores at app time: TU Fico Walmart 652 + Exp Vantage Fako 646 + EQ chase initial declined letter 603

Util at app time:  68-70%

# of Inq on each report avgd 4 - excluding the 5 auto inq on each report from my attempted refi in Oct 13.

Income $77k

Positives - AAOA 2.5 yrs, 18 positive revolving accounts (15 open), 2 positive installment loans, 1 pd auto loan, 1 curr auto loan.

Baddies - One 4yr old unpaid medical collection $312, One 6yr old pd charge off, due to fall off 9/1/14. My current auto loan has 5-30 day lates in the last 2 years.

Thanks!  I am pretty sure they'll do a PFD, I've had results with this same company YEARS ago, I'm hoping for the same when I go to pay in next month.  If not, definitely will Hipaa it.

Thanks Baller!  I immediately closed one of my paid in full FPB cards (not my oldest card), talk about feeling good about that.  Can't wait to ditch some more!

Congrats on your spree!  You should really like the Rewards card.....used to have (til I opened up Sallie Mae) & my DH still has it.  Great card with some nice benefits!

Wierd isn't it?  Citi was a pre-approval for me.  They had been mailing it to me forever and I kept throwing it in the trash.  I finally sat down and filled out the app sortof just so they would leave me alone.  haha  Not really, but sortof!

Barclay and Discover on the other hand I have applied for numerous times and am always instantly denied even on recon.  Go figure?!?
