First off, thanks again for everyone who helps support this great community. This is one of the most informative sites I've ever fallen into.
I'd planned on apping for two more cards this year(Freedom and Amex Green) and then gardening for a bit. This was the month to do it and after debating it awhile I decided to app for the last four cards that I would find useful before going into a long term period of gardening. We want to buy a house in early '15, so I'd like my account to lie nice and dormant for awhile(no new cards and as few HP as possible).
So, this morning:
Apped for Amex Green with 25k MR offer, approved.
Apped for Freedom with the $200 cash back offer, approved with an $8k limit.
Apped for Sallie Mae WMC, approved with a $12.5k limit(highest yet, WOOHOO!!).
Apped for BoA Cash Rewards Visa with $100 cash back offer, and received 30 day notice.(update, approved with $7.5k limit after calling)
So far, my experience with BoA has been pretty mixed. I've set up a checking and saving account online and that took forever to get the approval, codes, debit card and to get the info to finish setting up my account online. I'm wondering if this is the case as well with their online CC app.
I probably should be patient, but I wondered if anyone else has had the same experience with BoA. Are they just slow to approve, or should I call and check in?
A very successful day!!!
Congratulations on your approvals!! So envious of your scores...
Congratulations! Your welcome with open arms to the garden club. Go to the first page grab your tools plant your seedling and watch it grow.
Congrats.
Browse to this web site: https://www.barclaycardus.com/
In the upper right corner near where you normally login, there is a link to check the status of your application now. That will give you the details on your Sallie Mae, whether it is a Platinum or a World MasterCard, and what the credit limit is.
Thanks Man, You Can throw some good advice. I was happy to get the card but figured I'd be patient getting the details until you sent that link.
Sallie WMC, 12.5K!!!! Thats officially now my highest limit!
How did you get the $200 cash back offer from Chasae?
They sent it as a targeted offer. I'd been hunting online for a coupon but never found anything but the $100. I apped for the CSP in August, then hunted down a $200 offer
to open a checking account and opened that in Sep. Chase sent me the offer after that, then they sent a second one in mid-Oct(same offer). So, I received two offers after doing a little bit of business with them.
Thanks for the advice Lexie! I did, and they approved for $7.5k. I'm very happy and wandering towards the garden(and waiting to see what this little spree is going to do to my score
)
