Wanted to share some DP's on the Mission Lane Visa and the auto-CLI's I've received on the card.
Some background: This is the first card I opened as part of my rebuild after my BK7 discharged. Originally applied for the card November 2020 after my BK7 had discharged in February 2020. Initial SL of $750.
I used the card regularly for six months and always paid the statement balance in full. In June 2021 I received a $100 CLI to bring the limit to $850. In June 2021 I also joined NFCU and due to getting better cards with better limits with NFCU and other lenders I stopped using this card entirely aside from a $5 Amazon reload every six months just to keep the card active since it's my oldest card and the card has no AF. It otherwise sees no use whatsoever due to no rewards, a previously very low limit, and a sky high APR over 30%.
I had been content just keeping the card open with the low $850 limit to help contribute to average age of accounts as my profile continues to age but I've gotten some surprising CLI's on the card since it has gone into the sock drawer. In June 2023 I received a $3000 auto-CLI to bring the limit to $3850. Then just this month in February 2024 I received another $3000 auto-CLI to bring the limit to $6850.
No spend whatsoever has gone through the card since June 2021 aside from the $5 Amazon reload every six months but this card has surprisingly continued to grow. Wanted to share my experience with this card since there can be limited options to people starting their rebuild. The no AF Mission Lane Visa is one of the less predatory subprime cards out there and my overall experience with the card has been positive. The limit can also surprisingly grow with essentially no use.
Thanks for sharing the DPs and congrats ! Moving this to CC approvals also
Congratulations on your CLI!!!
Congrats!!! Wow!!
Congrats on your progress!
Thank you for the data points. I was getting ready to put this card to bed. I started on my rebuild with $500 at the 6 month mark I received a mere $100 cli regardless of my heavy spend. I have not used the card once since October. If there is hope I will just sock it and pray I have the same growth as you.
Congradulations on your cli!
Your story is similiar to mine with Mission Lane. $1000 cl since BK7 and then in the last year a cli to over $6K. Too bad it's been a sock drawer card of mine for awhile becuase of no rewards and high APR.
Congrats!
First off, congratuations!🎉🎉🎉

Secondly, thanks for the info! My situation is similar.I too got a Mission Lane visa to rebuild w/$1000 SL. I have already sock drawered it so I am hoping that I see a nice CLI like that!
Congrats on your cli
