Congradulations on that increase! You have to squeeeeeeeze everything you can out of those CLIs! I also took the 1k CLI for my Cap One just to not waste time a reset the timer. Thankful for that 1k with the little spend that's been on it. My cap one card 9.5 years old so it's not going anywhere.
Thanks for all the help over the 1.5 years I've been here too. You'll always be my Capital One buddy! LOL

LOL
Thanks so much, my friend!
We're nearly 'twins' with our Capital One cards... my QS MC will be 9 years next month! And you're exactly right... you have to be mindful of the calendar and always remember that a 'bird in the hand beats two in the bush', especially since just like you, I also have low usage on my Capital One cards (and also like you, I'm very thankful for whatever they give me!)
I appreciate all your help, support, and encouragement as well... if it wasn't for you and my other friends here there's no doubt my financial picture would look very different!

This is likely to be my last CLI thread for a while... most of my cards are where I want them already and/or taking a HP simply isn't worth it (USAA).
UncleB sir, you bite your tongue on that please. Nothing is ever really done until the fat lady sings.
Anyone hear her tune yet?
Congratulations! UncleB on what's been i know a very satisfying run of things for you since shedding the old anchor.

LOL... I literally just laughed out loud!
You're so right, my friend... it's never really 'done'... I guess I should have clarified that in my own case things will just be slowing down a bit... LOL!
You're also spot-on about shedding that old anchor... I have had a blemished credit file for 16 years, and honestly I had forgotten the feeling of having a clean credit file. All those years, even something as simple as having utilities connected or getting a cell phone was cause for a moment of anxiety knowing that my credit past could be a problem.
But no more...
Thanks again for your words of encouragement and support!
