So I've been getting a bit bored in the garden and was checking my FICO reports.
Realized I hadn't applied for any new cards since roughly 12/23, so I checked around to see if there was anything that would fit my criteria. Ended up getting a new CIU for some business expenses for the 0%.
After checking my timelines, I realized I drop to 3/24 in August (4/24 now). Applied for the Chase Freedom Flex 10% grocery offer, capped at $12K spend for 12 months (which I found after searching for awhile). Credit monitoring blew up with alerts from EX and TU. Got the 7-10 day message, but was approved after 4 business days. First personal card with Chase, so I'm gonna have to wait till it shows up to set up my login and find out what my limit and APR are.
Not being satisfied with a vague approval like this, and knowing I'll drop back under 5/24 by November, I applied for the Shop Your Way credit card. I've been seeing all these great offers showing up for DW's SYW, and following the SYW thread here; and I gotta say I got a lil' bit jealous. Well... maybe more than a bit. 😆 HP on EX, approved for $3K with the standard tiered sign-up bonus, $75 statement credit per $500 of spend for a total of $225 statement credit/$1500 spend. Hoping to get some of the same offers.
Tagging @unsungivy guess SYW just likes to toss out a low SL to start?
Like you, I'm debating whether or not to grab something that pulls EQ before I head back to the garden, but I'd prefer to not mess up my 5/24 count right now.

Sweet, grats on your new cards!!
Congrats on your new approvals!
Congratulations on your approvals!
@JoeRockhead @Rdbeetle @gdale6 @keekers Thanks!

10% grocery was actually easy to get, got it on first try. DoC had a post up awhile back about it, and some enterprising soul that found it copied the link and posted it in the comments (thanks internet stranger!).
WRT to BBP, I DO already have one. I would gladly take another, except I'm at Amex 5 revolver limit AND have my hands full.
Currently have my employees working thru Employee Card spending offers (5x employee cards for every Amex Biz card in my siggy) @5K MR/$2K for the MR cards (stacked with 10K MR/$2K retention offer on one Biz Gold) and $50 statement credit/$1K for the BBC.
Am currently playing the upgrade/downgrade game with the ED/EDP as well. I COULD close the current BBP and then reapply, or close the seldom used Schwab to free up a slot... BUT...
With the SYW's $225/$1500 SUB, CIC's $750/$6K, and BoA sending a mailer for unlimited bonus 3% for 3 months on the Biz UL with the highest limit...
Pretty much covers all my personal (CFF for grocery and drugstore, SYW for gas, offers and SUB) and business (CIU for 0% financing and SUB, BoA for non-category, Amex for category and non-category) spend for the next 3 months unless I decide to start a large project (either business or personal). I AM tempted to see how big Amex will allow a card to grow for me, tho.
