Multiple CLI and approvals

Victorias Secret - $350 - shopping cart trick (soft pull) My first Comenity Bank Card

Barclays VISA - CLI to $2500 (TU pull)

Amazon Store Card - CLI to $2500 (soft pull)

Old Navy - Pre-approval $400 UPDATE: CK shows as a HARD PULL

With a TU of 665, I went ahead and applied on the Old Navy preapproval I was emailed ( I held off for months). Initial limit is only $400. Quite LOW! My lowest with Synchrony. So I called the Credit Analyst backdoor and went through all typical questions. Response was NOT AVAILABLE FOR A CLI at this time. Not sure if thats a denial but usually Sych would say NOT APPROVED FOR CLI. Different wording. I was told to wait 30 days. So I got the approval, and Store Card will come in handy. Any help on CLI?

Old Navy is Sync, and Sync is always a HP for new account (SP for new account is more of a Comenity thing), And Congratz.

Ha! Had I known I probably wouldnt have app'd. Read somewhere that those pre-approval letters were a SP for another person. Ah well, lesson learned! Hopefully when I apply for the CLI again, that will remain a SP. Synch hasnt HP me for those yet!!

I just got old navy visa and toys r us MasterCard both 2,000 limits. I tried for a cli on both cards, and was told the same thing. No cli for the account. Kinda sucks, but I will try again.

I think I got my Old Navy CLI via the luv button around the 3 month mark.  I had tried for a CLI upon activation via chat, but no luck.  So try again in three months and see what happens.  It's always a SP, so no harm in trying.

Congrats! I wonder if thats a temporary cl for old navy. I'd love that card but really want the visa and not sure I'd get it.
