I don't know if there has been a big deal over this one lately. I think a while ago they were being very generous with new accounts. I apped for it because they did a SP on EX for membership and then my CC app was also a SP. They go off of Fico 04 mortgage score like NFCU does which for me is quite a bit higher than my 08 score. They gave me a pretty low SL but said that was because I had very new revolving history but let me in the door. The jist of my chat session was that they would review in a year and with a good revolving history at that point they would certainly consider a CLI of a much higher limit. I figured getting my foot in the foor with them and via SP's was win win for me. I've read a few posts of low SLI's with them jumping to 10 or 15K later. Also they have a nice LOC available that I made shoot for down the road.
