NAVY GOREWARDS $20k Rebuild Is Possible

I would first like to say thank you to everybody that has post their stories and advice. I've been rebuilding my credit for the last 13 months. However, 3 months ago I spent hours reading and applying tips and advice I found on this forum. My scores were in low 500s when I started my rebuild journey. My first credit card I got was Navy Secured for $500. Well that card never went unsecured. I think it was because I was carrying high utilization every month and credit scores not really improving. Fast forward to 3 months ago when I decided it was time to get serious about my journey and I spent hours upon hours reading and applying the advice I found. Since then I paid off one charge off with Wells Fargo that I settled and PFD two collections. AZEO method with all my other credit cards. My current scores as of 5/30 Fico 8 EX 603 EQ 632 TU 609. Last month I went on a mini app spree (which I regretted later) so I had 4 new injuries and 3 new accounts. Capital One denied me due to many recent applications. So I decided I would go into the gardening stage. But I kept researching Navy to try to figure why I had still not graduated. A hour ago I read a post and the poster had similar journey as mines and she applied for the GOREWARDS even though she had not graduated after a year. So I decided I would bite the bullet and apply and instant approval for 20k. I could not believe it. I still can't as I write this. I have been banking with Navy for 2 years and have a shared loan for $1000 for one year. Last payment is this month. And my payroll goes direct deposit. Salary around $67k yearly.

Decided to post my approval so anybody starting over can know that it is possible.

So excited and so blessed to have received all this credit knowledge.

Again thanks everybody.

Congrats on the success. That is one awesome SL. I think it's kind of funny that you have two cards with them and one is still secured, yet they hit you with that monster SL on the second card. I just got my membership approved this week, but I'm going to wait a while before I app for a card. This gardening thing is harder than it sounds, lol. Congrats again.
