Thank you @pizzadude & @gingerflower.  I have a followup question. 

If I move $5.8k balance from my Cash rewards card to my Platinum which has a $0 balance and $22k CL, my usage on my cashrewards will be ~28% and 26% on my Platinum.

1.  Will NFCU allow you to move balances?

2.  Will this increase my FICO scores since both cards will be under 30%?

As far as I know you can't balance transfer from one NFCU CC to another CC.   And I think that's the case with almost oll banks & CUs. 

However you can always ask them and see if they'd allow this. 

In terms of your FICO score, I'd expect it might improve but it's impossible to predict by how much.

As far as I know you can't transfer balance to other Nfcu Cc's however you can call cust service and ask if it is possible.  Regarding credit score I am not sure...Maybe other's will chime in.

Based on the feedback, I decided not to call NFCU. I should be able to get my cashRewards card below 30% in the next couple months.
