I was very happy to receive this approval! I have paid off some of my debt, and was going to wait until a few more credit accounts that I recently paid reported with a zero balance, and the loans I paid of to show as paid and closed, but I decided to pull the trigger. I have been trying to rebuild my credit for years, and I was waiting for my medical collections to fall off, which surprisingly happened last month. I currently have an Experian FICO 8 of 680, so I still have a lot of work to do at improving my credit. I was going to snowball my debt, but with the high interest rates, I decided to get a card with a 0% balance transfer offer. Once I pay down my balances, I should have a FICO score in the 700's. This card will most certainly help with utilization. My biggest issue with my credit score will be paying down my student loans. Once those are paid off, I will be able to get in to 800's.
