NFCU GoRewards Approval!

Hey friends!

I just want to share a success story:

I've been trying to get a CLI with COne on my QS card since may without any luck. They're bonkers in the head. I just closed on a house and I'm trying to increase my spending ability just in case something goes wrong. I was originally considering a HP at BoA but NFCU worked out much better! I originally apped with FICO 8 scores of 665-687, monthly earnings before taxes is about $6000 with a $750 mortgage. I made a $100 savings acct deposit and applied for a GoRewards CC the next day. I was instantly approved for $4200. I sent in a nice mail asking for a higher limit reconsideration the following day and i just got a midnight message saying I was approved for $10k, another $5,800!  They're sending me my first Visa Signature, and my CL accross all account grew 117%! I'm very satisfied with my NFCU experience so far! Next step is to get my scores up so I can get my rates down!

Re: NFCU GoRewards Approval!

Are you saying email or letter in mail? I am happy with my SL but wouldn't mind seeing if I can get it upped.

Re: NFCU GoRewards Approval!

Congrats & good idea with the recon.

Was just added to my wife's nfcu as joint owner only to realize this does not actually grant me membership or the ability to open new accounts. Will be calling tomorrow to get them to approve membership status so I can get our CD opened & eventually app a card once I've aged the 4 cards I opened in August. Hoping for results like yours!

MCP3ak, use their message system. Log in on a pc (not mobile) and go to messages in the top right.

I have a card I opened in march, but my other cards are over a year old or more.
