NFCU GoRewards CLI SP

Finally got a CLI with navy,
Thought navy has been off with me . always see they give huge Limits to people, but some reason even with having good scores, credit history , Good spend and high income they haven’t really given me anything crazy , but something better then nothing . had GoRewards about 8 months now 1k SL every time requested a cli always was an HP so said no thank you. The other day Said let me try and requested a CLI requested 25k,Then this morning was surprised to see my CL was 3K When logged into my account no notice of an HP. Pretty much always spend the full 1k Plus and PIF before statement closes. Thought would get a higher limit esp for amount of spend i put on it, but I’ll take the 2K. Recently got flagship as well 2 months ago was approved with a $8800 SL.
was recently approved for the Chase Marriott Boundless card as well which pulled TU also and they gave me $15,400 SL. Not sure why navy won’t give me higher limits. See people getting 15k-25k limits after getting low initial SL and instantly approved which I think my profile more then qualify’s for but guess they dont? Will have to wait until flagship CLI Eligible see what they do. For those cards to get in line with the other limits of my cards.

Congrats on increase! Most lenders dont really care about income persay although it certainly does factor in a bit. I think it is more-so your utilization and score.  720ish score isnt bad, but not really high either and utilization is a bit up there.  They have been very generous to me and been at max exposure on CC with them for a year now and started out about 2.5 or 3 years ago and never a HP other than getting the cards.  Just keep getting score up and lowering utilization is my only advise.  Something is better than nothing though!

Just looked at sig.. your EQ is at 800ish and tu at 720.. a badie on TU ?

08 Scores - TU: 839 - EXP:839 - EQ:838

Re: NFCU GoRewards CLI SP

Thank you I agree I will take the 2k for sure something is better then nothing.
the funny thing is, for months prior when requested A cli my UTI was between 1-4% Got nothing. Had some Really big spend the past 2 months and decided let bunch of it report to the CB, so my UTI increased a lot. My EQ and TU dropped a little but my EX stayed the same from the UTI increase.
Yea Have a couple late payments back from 2014 that still reporting on my TU as well as settled less then full balance from 2 Citi cards As well. Was able to get everything taken off my EQ and some off my EX. Why my EX and TU lower then my
EQ. Was During my days of credit carelessness/ was in a rough Financial situation at the time and not being as mindful as I am today about my credit. Citi told me they would report paid in full when I paid , not settled less then full balance.
My US Cash+ card still sitting at $500 , have had card over a year no CLI yet. See people getting CLI after 7-8 months but nothing. I keep getting Emails and mailer invites to apply for their business cards with a single apr. Only card left with a toy limit. Have built back my credit and scores from where it was back in 14.
