I have learned so much from you guys concerning my credit. I feel so empowered now. Nonetheless I still get nervous when I app. I started on this forum in Sept 2015. Didn't know my score but out the gate with Amex. Since then I have several accounts. But, I hit the jack-pt with Navy Fed. I had been waiting to join but wanted to get scores up but, couldn't wait and append on 12/31/15 twenty minutes before midnight.
I applied for a GoRewards card instant approval. $3300.00 on 1/2/2016
Navcheck asked $15k - pending asked for Ck Stubs / bank statement ( boy am I glad I didn't lie!
asked for 50k car loan - didn't have a car in mind but rep said you would have to reapp if you weren't approved for more so ask 50k (denied)
1/3/2016- re-apped for 25k on car - approved 2.7%
went car shopping not enough
1/5/16- re-apped for a car I saw and was approved asked for $36,914.76 and they approved 37k
all approvals in less than 1 wk
they have my business - after 14 yrs with my credit union I'm finally leaving!
