Opened secure card and pledge loan 28 May, paid off pledge loan 1 Nov and Graduated 9 Nov. Graduating meaning they returned my 200 secured deposit and raised credit limit to an unsecured 2000. Applied for cashRewards card but was denied. Guess it's too soon even though I was Pre-qualified for it and several more...

Just FYI on NAVY pre-approvals, they're not solid or 100% reliable.

Congrats for the CLI. Good luck with the future application but the pre-qualified is not guaranteed though. If you already with them for a long time and have a good history with them your internal credit score with Navy Federal would go up. Nobody knows how the internal credit score works but as long as you have good history with them, it sure will go up as time goes by. You can see the score printed usually on a piece of paper that comes with your previous application (usually).
